Introduced in 1951, the Aero Shackleton Mr.3 was a long-range Marine reconnaissance/search and rescue aircraft of the Royal Air Force coastal command. Developed as part of Britain response to a growing Soviet Navy, the Mr.3 carried extensive electronics for its anti-submarine role, as well as maritime Patrol and SAR duties. It was finally retired from service in 1991. Revell detailed model features full cockpit and interior, main fuselage door can be positioned opened/closed, movable rudders, long-range tip-tanks, cowl flaps can be positioned opened/closed, full undercarriage and bays, Plus defensive weapons. Flaps can be positioned dropped.
