The Wing Boost 3 ARGB combines many advantages of its famous predecessors with circular, digitally addressable RGB-LED lighting in the outer frame. The eponymous "Wing Boosts", small elevations on the impeller intake side, reduce air turbulence. The fan therefore works quieter, especially at higher speeds, than conventional fan designs would allow.

Wing Boost 3 ARGB: Powerful 140 mm fan

The Wing Boost 3 ARGB is a PWM -controlled, 140 millimeter fan that is equally suitable for mounting on housings, processor coolers and radiators. The fan works in a speed range between 400 and 1,500 revolutions per minute , whereby it achieves an enormous delivery volume of 134 m³ / h (78.86 cfm) and a static pressure of 2.07 mm H2O .

The hydraulic bearing, which reduces friction noise to a minimum, and the rubber decouplers in the fan frame guarantee whisper-quiet operation, even in the low speed range. TheWing Boost 3 RGB has a noise level of 25.6 decibels or less .

Addressable RGB-LED lighting in the frame

The Alpenföhn Wing Boost 3 ARGB is equipped with digitally addressable RGB-LED lighting. The manufacturer has integrated two rings that shine in 16.8 million colors in the fan frame, which casts a light glow on the impeller and can be connected to the mainboard or corresponding controllers via a 3-pin RGB connector. The Wing Boost 3 ARGB is compatible with ASUS Aura, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, ASRock Polychrome RGB and MSI Mystic Light .

Thanks to the Y-switch, which is integrated in the PWM plug, up to three Wing Boost 3 fans can be connected in series and controlled via a single PWM slot on the mainboard. In addition, an adapter is included that can supply the fan with power via Molex on 3-pin, but then without the ability to control the speed.
